The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal overturned the City of Casey’s decision not to allow development inside the buffer zone around the Stevensons Road Landfill. Several years later, methane was detected in the homes of the new residents. Socom assisted the Council with community engagement and crisis response, including emergency services liaison.
