After the Black Saturday Bushfires, the Victorian Building Commission asked Socom to join its crisis response team. The aim was to get critical information to people before they returned to their homes. A burnt home site presents many potential hazards and the Building Commission wanted to ensure there were no more injuries as a result of people returning home unprepared.
