Campaign:
Bendigo Health worked in partnership with Socom and the Victorian Government to build a new hospital. At the same time, Monash and La Trobe universities are undertaking major redevelopments of their facilities in Bendigo. This presents a unique opportunity to create a world-class health care and health education precinct at the current Bendigo Health site.

Our Approach:
Socom developed a communication strategy in 2009 to create positive awareness and garner high levels of community and stakeholder support for the new Bendigo Health precinct. In addition, Socom also assisted Bendigo Health to undertake community and stakeholder consultation.

Results:
The communication strategy ensured a coordinated and strategic approach to communications among key partners. The communication tools, tactics and activities selected will facilitate an open and two-way dialogue with internal and external stakeholders.
